Herbs
Basil Piccolino
Produces attractive and dense, rounded plants with small, full flavoured leaves. Can be grown indoors all year round.
Basil Red Leaved
The purple leaves add rich colour and give a real 'lift' to salads, stir fries and pasta. Can be grown indoors all year round.
Basil Thai
A traditional flavour for many oriental dishes, slightly spicier than other basils. Especially good for authentic Thai dishes such as Phad Thai rice or noodles.
Chervil Simple
Easy to grow, one of the classic 'fine herbs'. Delicate flavour, known as 'gourmet' parsley. Particularly good with salads or poultry and pork.
Chives
Much loved for its fresh, delicate onion flavour which complements many dishes. Plants ideal for growing on a cool windowsill.
Coriander (for seed)
Bred for seed production but leaves can also be used. Use for authentic curries and oriental dishes.
Coriander Calypso
Bred to be slow to run to seed and to create uniform bushy plants that are perfectly suited to 'cut and come again' cropping.
Coriander Cilantro (for leaf)
Large, abundant leaves slow to run to seed. Delicious for salads, Mexican, Mediterranean and Thai dishes.
Dill
Easy to grow for a versatile, sweet aniseed flavour. Leaves and seeds traditionally used with chicken and fish dishes.
Fennel
Very rewarding with tasty attractive leaves, stems and seeds that can all be harvested.
